It's a wet and dreary morning here at Haczela Chiropractic Center, but our spirits aren't dampened. Why not? Because we have had an amazing outpouring of support for our Toys for Tots toy drive! We have already filled up one box with donated toys that will surely make the holidays much happier for many boys and girls all over Beaver County!

While we are extremely excited about the donations we've received so far, we know that more toys are needed. If you haven't already done so, please bring your new, unwrapped toys to our office and place them in our donation box. You don't need to be coming in for an appointment; just stop by, grab a cup of hot chocolate or coffee (which we are offering during the holiday season!) and drop off your donation.

We thank everyone who has already donated. Your generosity will not be forgotten by those who will have a merry Christmas because of you!

It's Friday! We have made it through the week and can look forward to enjoying another abnormally warm weekend! We here at HCC hope you all have a fantastic weekend!

We are almost halfway through the month (if you can believe that!) and have had a great amount of success with our Patient Appreciation Month. We have been able to see a lot of new patients and get them well on their way to living a happier, healthier lifestyle. And already, some of our patients who have referred people to us have used their free massages! All came out with smiles on their faces and that look of pure relaxation. But of course, who WOULDN'T enjoy a free massage?!

For those of you who haven't referred your friends, family, loved ones, co-workers and others in your life to our office, we strongly urge you to do so. Not only will those you refer hopefully start to live a better, more pain-free lifestyle, but you can enjoy 30 minutes of relaxation and bliss! Happy Wednesday! We are officially halfway through the work week, well on our way to a few days off!

As we look towards the upcoming holiday season, we once are again reminded of those less fortunate than we are. Among those less fortunate people, a sad percentage of them are children. Children who go to bed hungry; children who go to school with holes in their clothes (and not because it's stylish!); children who will not receive a visit from Santa this Christmas. It is a heartbreaking reality that most of us don't like to face.

There is a way we can help. Every year, the United States Marine Corps Reserve Toys For Tots program collects new and unwrapped toys to donate to families who cannot provide toys for their kids. These donations bring smiles to the faces of children who would otherwise have a toyless Christmas.

For the second straight year, Haczela Chiropractic Center will be a drop site for toys to be donated to the Toys For Tots program. Please bring your new, unwrapped toys to our office located at 111 Wagner Road in Monaca. Last year, we were able to donate three boxes of toys to this wonderful cause. This year, we would like to double that! We need your help to accomplish this lofty goal, so please give as much as you can. We know that right now, the economy is tough. But we have to remember that, while we are sitting around with our families, friends and loved ones this Christmas, unwrapping present after present, there are those who will have a Christmas full of emptiness.

Thank you in advance from all the many, many children who will benefit from this toy drive! Remember, this is the giving season not the receiving season! Thank you all!

As we announced in our previous blog, today is the official start to Patient Appreciation Month. For those who didn't read our last post, here's a brief explanation: if you refer someone to our office and that person makes and keeps his/her first two appointments, you get a FREE 30 MINUTE MASSAGE!!!! There is no limit to the number of free massages you can get, so refer as many patients as you can.

We wil keep track of all patient referrals at the front desk. Anytime one of your referrals comes in, we will set aside a gift certificate for your massage and will give it to you on your next visit.

We hope you all take advantage of this great opportunity to enjoy some relaxation time with our talented massage therapists! More importantly, we hope you give the gift of good health to those around you. Make sure to tell all of your friends, family, loved ones, co-workers, neighbors and whoever else you know about the great things chiropractic care can treat!
